CPD for Practitioners
Regulate · A Day for Practitioners
Chronic pain that won’t resolve? Gut issues that keep returning? Fatigue, anxiety and symptoms across multiple systems that nothing seems to fully resolve? If you work with complex clients, you know exactly how this feels.
Adding a nervous system lens can change what’s possible. This day will show you how to find it — and give your own nervous system the reset it’s probably been waiting for too.
Sunday 19 July 2026 · 9:00am–4:30pm
Kawana Island Meeting Place, Sunshine Coast · $547
The why
Chronic nervous system dysregulation affects healing, gut function, sleep, hormones, detoxification, immune responses, pain processing, brain function and emotional regulation. It can drive the symptoms your clients keep coming back with.
But how to recognise it, assess it, and address it clinically is rarely taught. That’s what this day is.
Most CPD days send you home with more information and the same nervous system you arrived with. This one is different — you’ll leave having experienced genuine regulation in your own body.
A full-day immersive — for practitioners who want to go deeper
Regulate: A Day for Practitioners is a small-group, hands-on training day for health practitioners and coaches who want to understand the nervous system at a clinical level — and experience powerful regulation tools in their own body before teaching them to clients.
You’ll leave with a clinical toolkit, a new lens for your practice, and a nervous system that has actually experienced the work.
What you will learn
This is not just a lecture day. You’ll experience every tool in your own body first, then learn how to apply it clinically.
- How to recognise nervous system dysregulation in your clients and yourself.
- The neuroscience behind it all — the ANS, HPA axis and limbic system — in plain language, with clinical relevance throughout.
- Vagus nerve anatomy and function, plus hands-on experience with vagus nerve electrical stimulation.
- How to raise this topic with your clients — framing for different clinical contexts, without overstepping your scope.
- State-specific regulation tools, in your own body first.
- Interoception and co-regulation — the piece that is often missing in clinical practice.
- A full breathwork journey to close.
You’ll leave feeling the work — not just knowing it.
This day is for you if…
- You’re a physiotherapist or allied health practitioner looking to expand your clinical toolkit
- You’re working with clients who have complex or chronic presentations
- You’re a naturopath, integrative practitioner, psychologist, or counsellor wanting to apply a nervous system lens
- You’re a yoga teacher, somatic practitioner, or breathwork facilitator wanting the neuroscience behind your work
- You’re seeing clients who aren’t progressing the way they should — and you want to understand why
- You’re experiencing burnout or chronic stress yourself and recognise that something needs to change
- You want to speak confidently about nervous system regulation with clients and colleagues

My Story & QualificationsKind words from practitioners
“Her insight into how nervous-system dysregulation underpins so many persistent health issues resonated strongly with my own clients and has enriched the way I guide them toward recovery. I found Jacqui’s work incredibly helpful for my practice.”
Joanne Kennedy — Naturopath
“Jacqui has partnered with our college as a presenter and tutor over a number of years. We are very grateful to be able to call upon Jacqui’s expertise around the science of the nervous system and human physiology. She is an excellent presenter — engaging, informative and professional — able to present even complex concepts in a way that encourages interest in learning more.”

Frequently asked questions
Will this count towards my CPD?
7 CPD hours are included; however, whether this event meets your specific professional body’s requirements is subject to their guidelines. We recommend checking with your body directly.
Is this relevant to my modality?
Yes. The nervous system underpins every modality. Whether you work in physiotherapy, coaching, naturopathy, psychology, or movement — this content will expand how you work with every client.
Can I use this in my clinical practice?
It’s up to you to determine what is within your scope of practice. However, Jacqui has designed this day around practices that are easily implemented into clinical practice, regardless of your modality.
Do I need a neuroscience background?
Not at all. The content is rigorous enough for clinicians and accessible enough for coaches. Jacqui is experienced at translating complex neuroscience into practical, usable frameworks.
What if I already know some of this content?
The day goes deeper than most introductory nervous system content. The hands-on tools, clinical application, case studies, and breathwork journey are valuable regardless of your existing knowledge.
What should I bring?
Just yourself, comfortable clothing, and an open mind. You may like to bring your own TENS machine or e-stim if you’d like to use it for the vagus nerve electrical stimulation.
